After being laid off from LAnzate, an Emmy winning travel show on Univision Network I hosted for six consecutive years I was forced to live off food stamps and unemployment. However, there was always a little voice inside my head telling me "There's more to do, you got this". I knew this was an opportunity for me to continue my passion and mission in life which is to inspire women to never give up. And so NYTAQ (Not Your Typical Average Queen) was born.

Shopify has helped our small team of 5 women take on every challenge of running an online business with efficiency and effectiveness.

Through Shopify resources, webinars, gurus, apps, and endless customer support; we have been able to create an ecommerce platform that not only envisions our brand’s creative direction, but functions for our customers needs and adapts to the changes of our current society.

When we have an idea, we often think, “Do you think Shopify can do it?” and the answer has always been “YES”.
